Neighborhood Festival at Parc Morgan

The local community from the Centre-Sud and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve districts is invited to celebrate the diversity and creativity of our neighborhood at the upcoming grand neighborhood festival, taking place on June 1st, from 2 PM to 7 PM at Parc Morgan. Organized by Effervescence Citoyenne, this event promises a day full of activities suitable for all ages, highlighting local talents and initiatives.

Rich and Diverse Program The festivities will kick off at 2 PM with a series of performances on stage, featuring local musicians such as Aube Douce, DanyJo, and Dear Broken Silence, each bringing a unique flair to the festive atmosphere. The table activities will be equally engaging, with workshops ranging from Poetic Scrabble to an innovative housing game called “J’habite ici”.

Participatory Activities to Strengthen the Community Interactive spaces will be set up to encourage visitor participation, including outdoor games like hacky sack, bicycle repair workshops, and laughter yoga sessions. Children will enjoy storytelling, construction games, and new attractions such as children’s face painting and a clown workshop.

Free Snacks for Everyone In addition to all these exciting activities, free snacks will be available for all participants. Come enjoy a variety of snacks while taking part in the festivities!

A Call to Community Action Effervescence Citoyenne also calls on all residents who are eager to contribute to the event by leading workshops or helping to decorate the park with creations made from compostable materials. This act of participation strengthens the community spirit and respect for the environment, values dear to the organization.
