Montreal in the Canada Reads Spotlight: Authors Heather O’Neill and Catherine Leroux in Conversation

Heather O’Neill will be championing fellow Montréalaise Catherine Leroux’s novel The Future (trans. Susan Ouriou) on Canada Reads! Join both writers at La Sotterenea for a wide ranging conversation about their books: writing from a child’s perspective, writing motherhood in a way that holds contradiction and honors complication, and if there’s such a thing as a Montréal sensibility or style. Bronwyn Averett will be moderating the conversation to be followed by an audience Q + A, a short reading, and a book signing. The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Books will be sold by Librairie Drawn and Quarterly.
