In Rapture, 10 dancers pay tribute to the millions of people lost to AIDS

Wednesday, Jul 27 , 7 p.m. to Saturday, Aug 6 , 9 p.m.

On the occasion of the 24th International AIDS Conference and as a prelude to the Fierté Montréal Pride Festival, Rapture (presented by Gilead) will present 10 performers in a tribute to the millions of people who have tragically died of AIDS. The show will intertwine touching confessions of a group of people who have decided to continue to fight against serophobia and HIV; a daily burden that, although arduous and complex and sometimes, unspeakably violent, requires unfailing resilience.

Artistic concept and choreographic guide: Dave St-Pierre; Performers-creators: Stacey Désiliers, Nicholas Bellefleur, Tony Bougiouris, Miranda Chan, Lael Stellick, Rony Joaquin Figueroa (Kuntiana), Emilio Brown, Vincent Reid, José Dupuis and Mélusine Bonillo.
