AVERY JANE is a Montreal-based independent artist from Victoria, BC (lək̓ʷəŋən traditional territory), blending pop, folk, and R&B influences. With roots in big bands, musical theater, and indie-jazz ensembles, she’s known for her versatile voice and captivating stage presence. Launching her solo career in 2019, Avery performed in Montreal’s pub circuit before focusing on original music during the pandemic. Her songs capture the humor and depth of everyday life, from songs about grocery shopping, family visits, and love. A storyteller at heart, Avery’s lyrics resonate with audiences through candid, witty reflections on universal human experiences.

SARIYAH IDAN: From the hills of Woodstock NY, now based in the New Orleans swamps, Sariyah Idan is an awarded singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, community-organizer, and captivating performer. Jazz and folk trained, hip-hop educated, and influenced by Latinx/Caribbean sounds and her Jewish roots, she possesses an “ability to seamlessly combine a wide variety of disparate styles and sonics into a memorable sound all her own,” (Tinnitist). Her lyricism is hailed as “powerful, soulful, spirited songs filled with stories of struggle, love and social justice” (Fusicology). Following her debut LP “Breaking Shadows” and the follow up EP “Glitter & Blood”, “Solo Live in Berlin” will be out spring 2025.

DAWN CADENCE: Montreal-based singer, songwriter, and producer, Dawn Cadence, is carving out her own lane in dark pop. Described by Obscure Sound as an artist “whose chilling pop sound conveys a darkening mystique,” her entirely self-produced debut LP, odyssey, set the foundation for her distinct musical identity. Dawn’s performances are riveting, consistently leaving audiences enchanted by her otherworldly presence. Her recent performance at the 2024 POP Montreal Music Festival solidified her place as an artist to watch, cementing her rising status in the independent scene.
