MUTEK 2025 promises mesmerizing audio-visual experiences from Aug. 19 to 24

Montreal’s digital creativity and electronic music festival has dropped the first wave of its lineup for this summer’s 26th edition.

MUTEK has revealed the first wave of artists in its 2025 lineup, promising a mesmerizing audio-visual feast for this summer’s 26th edition, happening from Aug. 19 to 24.

Among MUTEK’s newly announced 2025 performers are British artist/composer Max Cooper (returning to Montreal with his new immersive experience Lattice 3D/AV), Detroit techno vet Kevin Saunderson (under the alias e-Dancer), Austrian house icon Cassy, Italian drummer and percussionist Valentina Magaletti (performing solo and with the group Holy Tongue), local producer Martyn Bootyspoon and former Montrealer Gayance (now based in Portugal).

Shows will take place at Esplanade Tranquille (site of the festival’s free outdoor programming), SAT, Place des Arts’s Théâtre Maisonneuve and MTELUS.
