A report by Statistics Canada has confirmed that the country’s population will reach 56.5 million by the year 2068, almost 50% higher than 38.2 million, as recorded last year.

According to Statistics Canada 25.9% of the population will be aged 65+ in 2068, and the average age in the country will increase from 41.7 last year to 44.1 years in 2043 and 45.1 years in 2068.
