McCord Museum is offering free admission to JJ Levine: Queer Photographs tomorrow

As part of a celebration of Fierté Montreal Pride.

Coinciding with Fierté Montreal Pride Week, the McCord Museum is offering free admission to its exhibition JJ Levine: Queer Photographs tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 3.

The exhibition includes 52 large-format photographs from three series of portaits to “celebrate people who self-identify as queer” and “question the representation of traditional binary gender roles.”

JJ Levine is an image-based artist living and working in Tiohti:áke/Montreal known for his compelling body of work in portraiture. His work has been exhibited at museums, galleries and art festivals in Canada, the United States, Mexico, as well as numerous European countries. Levine’s images have been featured in art magazines and newspapers internationally, such as CV Photo, Esse, Slate, The Guardian Observer and Society.”
