Potential for flooding in Southern Quebec due to heavy rain and melting snow

According to the Weather Network, Montreal and Southern Quebec will be hit with heavy rain on Thursday and Friday, with up to 45 mm expected on Thursday alone. The weather statement has confirmed that the combination of rain and leftover melting snow in low lying areas may cause flooding.
