Projet Montréal plans to build skateparks under the 40 Expressway

Projet Montréal has announced plans for the 40 to be repaired by Transports Québec, and one of those plans involves the building of skateparks under the expressway.

“We consider this a perfect opportunity to beautify the sector,” said Mayor Valérie Plante before discussing other initiatives, such as the installation of sports fields, and greening of the surroundings. She also spoke about increasing the safety of the area and allowing pedestrians and cyclists more time to cross.
