The Concordia-based Institute for Urban Futures is holding a workshop called Montreal: Temporary City at Mile End’s new free coworking space Temps Libre, focusing on the growing trend of keeping vacant buildings in use through temporary strategies like pop-up shops, art exhibitions and other short-term cases. Check out what Montreal’s independent video game producers have been up to at today’s IndieCon at Rosemont’s Gam1ng Café, showcasing new games from studios Artifact5, no_CVT, North Peak, Miscellaneum Studios and more.
