The fourth edition of le Cartel’s Meat the Street event series brings live art and music to the Saint Edouard bar in Rosemont, with German artist HRVB (aka Herr von Bias of the Weird crew) working on the exterior and music by Figure8, Funkyfalz and NIdal. 808 Rosemont, 4 p.m.–2 a.m.

Ever wanted to ask a pornstar what it’s like to work in the triple-X industry? No question is too taboo at tonight’s pornstar panel (c/o Fierté Montreal Pride), which promises to “expose the dark underbelly of the industry and discuss what motivated them to ply their atypical trade.” Centre Panet (1212 Panet), 6 p.m., $5 (bracelet required)

Alternative LGBT Pride organization Pervers Cité has several panels today that are affiliated with the World Social Forum (see the complete programming, which runs through Aug. 14, here), as well as Black Liberation, Church and Queerness: Then and Now, a bilingual workshop and Q&A comparing and contrasting the history of organized religion and LGBT people in civil rights and the current Black Lives Matter movement. It’s day one of the annual Under Pressure graffiti festival, and this year’s program is bigger than ever with four days of urban arts & culture, workshops, discussions, dance and DJ battles and of course, plenty of live painting. Today, check out the Move Your Body street dance battle at Disstortion (372 Ste-Catherine W., #122-124, 7 p.m., $12) and a special UP edition of Beaux Dégâts, the live painting showdown where you vote for your favourite team with empty PBR cans at Foufs (87 Ste-Catherine E., 8 p.m., $5)
