It’s day two of Osheaga! Tickets to the music festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau are sold out, but if you are going, see our festival guide here. Tonight’s official Osheaga afterparty shows feature fine local talent from different musical spheres: rock/folk heroes the Barr Brothers (le Fairmount, 5240 Parc, 11 p.m., $23/$26) and hip hop/piu piu producer Kaytranada, who plays this Moto Made-co-presentation alongside Noo-Bap and Nana Zen (le Belmont, 4483 St-Laurent, 11 p.m., $20/$25).

Head to Griffintown to discover the final day of the temporary outdoor installation Place au Chantier, featuring pavilions of innovative urban design from over 20 designers, with a special closing day with a record market and DJ sets from Kizi Garden Records and the Ants, food from Duck Truck MTL, Café Pista, Pops Art and Smoothfruit and special bar service from Isle de Garde. 1230 Smith, 3–11 p.m., free

Treat yourself to a Bowie-themed night of art and music at Quai des Brumes with a vernissage of 20 new paintings of and inspired by David Bowie by local artist Polo, followed by a performance from the artist’s Bowie cover band the Jeepsters. 4481 St-Denis, vernissage 5–7 p.m., free, show 10 p.m., $10

Chicago comic and rising Hollywood star Hannibal Buress comes to Just for Laughs tonight for a solo show at Olympia. See our July cover story about Buress here. 1004 Ste-Catherine E., 7 p.m., $39.50–$45.50

It’s the closing night of the MEG music festival, which wraps with a dance party at Divan Orange, featuring DJs Kyle Kalma, Seychelle and Seb Diamond. 4234 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $5/$10

If you’re looking for an underground afterparty, your monthly Moonshine is happening tonight. Ashburn Davis b2b DJ Bruce (NYC), Humans (the Vancouver duo), Toronto’s Bambi and Montrealers Pierre Kwenders and Bonbon Kojak spin house and Afro, with VJ Boycott on visuals. New secret location, 11 p.m., $5 before midnight, $10 midnight to 2 a.m./$15
