Head to the McCord Museum for the launch party for the annual digital art festival Printemps Numériques. Parisian Laundry hosts a vernissage for two new exhibitions, including the minimalist architectural sculpture work of Alexandre David in D’un objet à l’autre and colourful pop sculptures from Toronto-based artist Jaime Angelopoulos. 3550 St-Antoine W., 6–9 p.m., free

Montreal Improv presents (for one night only) Silver Ladies, a tribute to the sassy 1980s seniors of The Golden Girls. The cast, including Alex Brown, D. J. Mausner and Lar V,i will take suggestions from the audience and explore the bonds of women’s friendships. 3697 St-Laurent, 8:30 p.m., $8
