Famous curator Hans Ulrich Obrist’s 20-year long regenerative project do it is being executed at Galerie de l’UQAM this month, and this afternoon and evening will see a series of performances in which local artists will find original ways to follow instructions proposed by other local and international artists. Imago Theatre’s powerful new production Pig Girl, by Governor General’s Award-winning playwright Colleen Murphy, begins its second (and final) week of performances at the Centaur Theatre tonight. The play focuses on four characters involved in the story of Canadian serial killer Robert Pickton: the dying woman (played by aboriginal actor Reneltta Arluk), the killer, the cop and the sister. 453 St-François-Xavier, 8 p.m., $15/$10 students in advance or pay what you decide after the show.
