PHOTOS: Ice storminess in Montreal

This isn’t ’98, but yes, we’ve had an ice storm. There’s ice on the trees and signage all over town, branches are being cleared off the roads and a couple hundred thousand people in southern Quebec lost power — as of 10 a.m. this morning, 7,000 homes were still in the dark.

And while it hasn’t been disastrous (and hopefully won’t be in the days to come), ice storms have to be the most beautiful natural disaster there is. Check it:
