Drawn & Quarterly hosts the launch of Mirrors and Mirages, a novel about immigrant women and their daughters’ conflicted relationship with tradition, translated from French by Fred Reed. Author Monia Mazigh will speak and sign books. 211 Bernard W., 79 p.m.

MainLine’s stage production of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Philippe Gobeille, returns for the Halloween 2014 season, and runs through Saturday. MainLine Theatre (3997 St-Laurent), 8 p.m. $20 / $18 (advance) / $15 (students and seniors)
