Le Cypher haunts Lambi this week seshun nuhhhhhmbah fooo-oouuuuuur, with secret guests from Noh-mahhhhdic Mahhhhh-sive. 4465 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $4

And reverse zombies infest Mange-Moi with Nick Wisdom, Panther, GrandBuda and more. Cabaret Underworld (1403 Ste-Elisabeth), 9 p.m., $5 before midnight/$10

Saturday: Walla P and Dr. Mad bring WeFunk’s Professor Groove to the lab to make science run awry at Voyage Funktastique. Le Bleury Bar à Vinyle (2109 Bleury), 10 p.m., $4 before midnight/$7

Tuesday: The masks come off at Phi Centre for a truly close encounter of the “Word!” kind with hip hop’s only Brother Ali, with tour support from DJ Last Word, Bambu and host MaLLY. Check Cult MTL as of Friday for my newest interview with the veteran Rhymesayer. 407 St-Pierre, 9 p.m., $35/$40

Wednesday: J.U.D. leaves the St. Flowers EP on their graves. Le Bleury Bar à Vinyle (2109 Bleury), 7 p.m.
