Two great local acts are playing the Jazz Fest tonight: majestic neo-folkies Thus Owls (Club Soda, 1225 St-Laurent, 11 p.m., $29.50, includes a copy of their album Turning Rocks) and dynamic dance-funk duo Beat Market (Metropolis, 59 Ste-Catherine E., 11:59 p.m., free)
