Go Habs go!

Correlate is the annual exhibition of visual 2D and 3D visual art, game concepts and video/sound installations by students graduating from Concordia University’s Department of Design and Computation Arts, running through May 3. Check out the vernissage this evening. Phi Centre (407 St-Pierre), 6 p.m.

If you’re watching tonight’s game, the beginning of another historic war between the Habs and the Bruins, we’ve got some suggestions for where to watch the game, here. Go Habs go!

The Goethe Institut have brought German writer Katharina Hagena to town for the Blue Metropolis Festival. She’ll be present for a screening of The Taste of Apple Seeds, an adaptation of her award-winning novel, at Cinema Excentris. 3536 St-Laurent, 7 p.m., $11.50

Chromeo! Yes, the boys are back in town, less than two weeks ahead of the release of their next record, White Women. Sadly this show is sold out, but if you can beg or borrow (don’t steal) your way in, go for it. There will probably be scalpers outside this thing. Théâtre Corona Virgin Mobile (2490 Notre-Dame W.), 8 p.m., $38 (SOLD OUT)

Straight out of the Hammer, singer/producer Jessy Lanza plays Il Motore with U.S. ambient drone dude Ricky Eat Acid and local producer Sexlife (aka David Shaw). 179 Jean-Talon W., 9 p.m., $13

This week’s edition of Jeudis Frigid — manned by DJ Frigid, of the semi-legendary Kink & Overdose nights at Unity and Parking — is “post-punk paradise.” Apollon (1450 Ste-Catherine E.), 10 p.m.
