Puces Pop ends today, so it’s your last chance to stock up on independently made goodies for your nearest and dearest (or just yourself). St-Enfant Jésus Church (5035 St-Dominique), 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Then there’s the competition. Old Skool Crafts brings the artisans and their wares, the kid-wranglers and the charity raffles to Mile End once again. Eglise St-Michel (105 St-Viateur W., basement), 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Montreal’s only urban rooftop greenhouse, Lufa Farms, is hosting a Christmas market at its Ahuntsic-Cartierville HQ (near Marché Centrale), where they’ll be selling all locally sourced edibles. Check out the list of products here (and also note there is no ATM on site). Lufa Farms (1400 Antonio-Barbeau, #201), 11 a.m.–4 p.m., free entry

Staff, friends and frequent patrons of Nouveau Palais, that new-school palace of comfort food, cocktails and DJs nights in Mile End, got a shock this week at news that one of NP’s team, James Hill, passed away suddenly on Monday. A public memorial service is happening at la Sala Rossa today. 4848 St-Laurent, 5 p.m.

Midnight Poutine hosts a Christmas party stacked with local talent, including Ainsley McNeaney, Saxsyndrum, members of First You Get the Sugar, Ohara Hale, Erin Lang, Kieran Blake and Maarten de Boer. Quai des Brumes (4481 St-Denis), 8 p.m., $5
