Montreal women’s hockey team Les Stars are taking on the actors from Les Boys and former Montreal Canadiens players, including Georges Laraque, in a family-friendly game. Proceeds are split between the Stars and the Fondation québécoise de l’enfance. Étienne-Desmarteau arena (3430 Bellechasse), $20, 1 p.m.

CBC has got another holiday sing-along all set to keep you in good voice and spirit. Handel’s Messiah will test your musical mettle and breath support at Christ Church Cathedral this afternoon. 1444 Union, 5 p.m.

Much-missed underground screening room Blue Sunshine is no more, but that isn’t stopping the fine folks behind it from mounting their Annual Christmas TV Trash Party. Peut-Être Vintage (6029A Parc),  6 p.m., $5–$10 (and as they note with delight, you don’t pay to get in, you pay to get out, with the price going down the longer you stay).

Spruce up your home with some locally made art from some of our city’s underground’s best and brightest at Blood Money 2. All pieces are priced at $100 or less, and will include everything from prints to original works by a number of tattoo artists, band members and general bon vivants. Piranha Bar (680 Ste-Catherine W.), 7 p.m., $2 (includes free raffle ticket)

Turtle Caps: NYC to MTL, a show featuring the work of New Yorker Keith QbNyc, happens tonight at skateshop LeDep. Naturally, there will be alcohol and music, too. Oh, and the first 20 people through the door will receive a print by local art type Futur Lasor Now. LeDep (1201 St-Dominique), 7-11 p.m.

Dance your night away to the music of the year that was at Music Is My Sanctuary’s Best of 2012 w/ DJs Lexis, Scott C & Alaiz. Le Belmont (4483 St-Laurent), 10 p.m., $5 before 11 p.m./$8
