SeminArts : An Educational Program Fostering the Passion for Collecting Contemporary Art

SeminArts, an educational program from the MAC – Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, returns this fall: from November 7 until December 5. In an atmosphere conducive to discussion and the sharing of ideas, this educational program gives participants a chance to discover the art world and the workings of the art market through five sessions with various players in the arts community, including artists, gallerists, private collectors, museum curators and corporate collectors. On Tuesdays November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 2023, from 6 – 8 p.m. Sessions will be in French, and will take place in a different location each week near Downtown Montreal : Fonderie Darling, Belgo, galerie Pierre-François Ouellette, a private collector’s home, and at the Fairmont Queen-Elizabeth.
