David Suzuki Foundation x POP Montreal presents Hear my anger! Mobilizing emotions for climate & social justice

Friday, Apr 22 , 2 p.m. to Friday, May 6 , 9 p.m.

Visit the exhibition Hear my anger! Mobilizing emotions for climate and social justice, bringing together the work of 16 artists and activists who have created posters expressing the deep feelings that the many injustices caused by the climate and social crises arouse in them.

The emotions generated by these grave injustices are too often kept silent. Their free expression, however, appears necessary in order to collectively heal and build a viable society, where the well-being of everyone takes precedence.

⌚️ Opening hours:
Tuesday to Thursday: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: 2 p.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

????‍???? The list of exhibited artists will soon be available on the exhibition webpage.

???? If you like to paint and/or you have a message to write on a banner, come ready to add your personal touch to a collective work to which everyone is invited to contribute! All equipment will be provided on site!

???? Beyond the visit to the exhibition, we warmly invite you to immerse yourself in all the humanity of popular movements, the main source of hope in the face of the climate crisis and inequalities! ✊

*The cover artwork for the event is Awacak otci, “For the Little Beings of Light,” by Eruoma Awashish.

– Thanks –
The David Suzuki Foundation and POP Montreal warmly thank the entire community that made the project possible, starting with the artists who honored them with their trust to share intimate and true feelings, which so generously immersed themselves. into complex emotions to elicit valuable insight into what the solution looks like for a just and viable world.
Thank you also to all the people who mobilize on a daily basis and embody hope through strength in numbers and through their intransigence in defending the dignity of all.
We would like to thank our generous donors, thanks to whom this event is made possible: Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation, Rita & Charles Bronfman, and Ellen Bronfman Hauptman & Andrew Hauptman.
