Photo Exhibition-Sonder

Montreal photographer, Terry Hughes’s first solo photography exhibition, titled SONDER, will be showcased at Galerie du Viaduc from August 22-27th.

”Sonder” is a term that derives from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, referring to the
profound realization that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as our own. It is the
understanding that every individual we encounter has dreams, fears, joys, and challenges that shape their existence in ways we may never fully comprehend.

The collection spans several continents and includes color and black and white images which aim to capture this sentiment and to grant glimpses into the rich and manifold narratives that constitute the human tapestry.
