Open Studio: Dyslexie – Taylor Soos

As part of our commitment to connecting the general public with intimate creative experiences, we are hosting an Open Studio residency.

The Open Studio offers a unique opportunity for the general public to view the creative process firsthand. Our guest artist, Taylor Soos is pleased to welcome all visitors and engage in meaningful dialogue as he completes his latest series for his upcoming exhibition “Sorry for my Spelling Mistakes”.

About the exhibition:
All work created during the Open Studio session will be in preparation for Soos’s upcoming solo exhibition, “Sorry for My Spelling Mistakes”. The series is a meditation on the artist’s experience with dyslexia. “I don’t consider it a disability…it’s what allows me to create art”. Soos embraces his dyslexia as a unique ability that fuels his artistic expression.
The exhibition is a celebration of neurodiversity and hopes to provoke contemplation in the viewer about their own unique perceptions of the visual world.
