Torquil Campbell and Stephen Ramsay are Total Fucking Darkness.

Torquil Campbell of Stars and Stephen Ramsay of fellow Montreal band Young Galaxy have joined forces as TFD, aka Total Fucking Darkness. Today, the duo released their debut single, “The TFD,” which is said to be representative of their sound / mandate: “a reimagining of the sounds of late ’80s British pop music set to the current total fucking darkness in which the world inhabits.”

Sample lyrics: “Death to fascists, death to men, death to politicians and the women who live with them.”
