According to a Research Co. study in L’actualité, 30% of people in Quebec believe the province would be doing better as its own country, and not part of Canada. Quebec was second only to Alberta, where 38% of respondents believe the province would be doing better on its own.

Overall, 25% of Canadians believe their province would be better off alone.
