Don’t miss your chance to see stand-up comedian Jon Bennett’s acclaimed show Pretending Things Are a Cock, with the first of three shows on tonight at ComedyWorks. Part stand-up routine, part travelogue and part phallo-centric photo slideshow, the show was developed from Bennett’s experiences over three years of globetrotting and has been a festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe and Just for Laughs since its debut. 1238 Bishop, 8:30 pm., $15
