As part of Black History Month, student radio station CKUT is teaming up with the Black Students’ Network of McGill to offer a full day of Afrocentric programming called Black Talk 2016 including discussions on black women rappers, hip hop, hair, mental and sexual health in black communities, and much more. Concordia welcomes Brooklyn-based artist Maria Hupfield (member of Ontario’s Wasauksing First Nation) for “Pursuit of a Living Library,” an artist talk connecting archives, oral histories and community-building actions to Indigenous experiences and art-making practices.
