The Politics Show

Wednesday, May 22 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Montreal’s only political comedy show is launching May 22nd after the Poly Mic at Notre Dame des Quilles at 9 pm.

For lovers of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Last Week Tonight, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Mock the Week, comes Montreal’s own satirical comedy show, featuring stand-up sets by some of the city’s best, along with segments like “An historical retelling”, “Very Serious Debate”, “Roast an Elected Representative” and “New Laws”.

The all-star lineup features comedians Mike Carrozza (Just for Laughs, San Francisco Sketchfest, iTunes #1 comedy album Cherubic), Steve Patrick Adams (Canadian Comedy Award Winner, writer for CBC Punchline), Raquel Maestre (Off-JFL, the Montreal Fringe), Brad MacDonald (Sketchfest, CBC Television), and Trevor Thompson (Just for Laughs Discovery Series, and his album Miserable with Benefits), hosted by Elie Gill (Off-JFL, Montreal Sketchfest).

Come see the launch of the show that will solve all this country’s problems, May 22nd at 9 pm at Notre Dame des Quilles. We’ll answer questions like, Could Justin Trudeau be more embarrassing (if he had to sell his costume collection in the divorce), and What is the point of the UN if one country’s veto can enable war crimes?
