Ever Deadly

A concert documentary unlike any other, Ever Deadly immerses you in the life and sounds of Polaris and Juno-winning avant-garde throat singer, Tanya Tagaq. 

This visceral music and cinema experience from the NFB was created in collaboration with award-winning filmmaker Chelsea McMullan and explores Tagaq’s transformation of sound with an eye to colonial fallout, natural freedom and Canadian history.
