Britt Wray PhD, author of Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Climate Anxiety, will share her insights on maintaining our mental health while tackling the climate crisis. Her book has captivated readers and was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award.

Dr. Wray’s research explores the rising phenomenon of climate anxiety, particularly among younger generations. She delves into how these intense feelings are a natural and healthy response to the current state of the world, and how we can turn these anxious feelings into strength.

About Dr. Wray:

She is the Director of CIRCLE at Stanford University Psychiatry and is the Founder of Unthinkable, a non-profit on a mission to connect people to resources and community supports for building psychological resilience to climate disruption.  

She is a global speaker who has participated in the World Economic Forum and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Guardian.
