Pointe-à-Callière’s flagship event is back as a free hybrid version: on site and online! 

On Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 11 am to 4 pm, Pointe-à-Callière will recreate the atmosphere of Montréal’s first marketplace around the Museum and Place Royale, or the very site it occupied during the days of New France. With its booths and festive activities, Pointe-à-Callière’s Public Market will plunge you ina formidable historical re-enactment that will instantly transport you to the 18th century! 
In the heart of Old Montreal, stroll through the merchant stalls to the sound of street musicians and enjoy local artisanal products. Discover the skills of the olden days by taking part in different activities.  

Online, enjoy a variety of online activities, starting August 27. Lectures, an evening of stories and Participatory workshop to please everyone!
