Poirier at Sud West, Jazz Fest 2013 edition

 

Take part in NDG Arts Week with an art walk with concerts and a BBQ in the open air Alley Cat Gallery, with performances from Considering the Circumstances, Hayes Kali Thurton, Patrick Hutchinson and more. Alley next to 5711 Sherbrooke W., 12–6 p.m., free

It’s the penultimate edition of Alexandraplatz’s Marché de nuit this season, with local artist vendors bringing a festive atmosphere to Mile Ex, while DJs Tamika, the One Tash & Moonstar and Scott C (The Goods) keep things bouncing on the turntables. Food trucks on site. 6731 Esplanade, 2–11 p.m., free

Passovah hosts an afternoon show at Résonance with singer-songwriter and violinist Ari Swan with Out of Sight of Land and Pink Crush (5175A Parc, 4 p.m., PWYC) before the night program presents a dilemma, with four pretty solid show options to choose from. DJs Ghostbeard and Poirier bring their Sud West party to the East End, playing their reggae/dancehall selections at Village au Pied-du-Courant, with special guest Face-T. Bring cash for food trucks and bars. 2100 Notre-Dame E., 5–11 p.m., free
