Local leather goods label Matu hosts a sample sale and afternoon party in their ruelle verte in preparation for an upcoming move, featuring deals on leather accessories plus special coffee from the mobile bicycle café Pista and printed goods from Baltic Club. 5105 des Érables, 12–6 p.m., free

2015 Mural Fest alumnus Benny Wilding launches Shift, an exhibition of his works with a vernissage at Artgang followed by an afterparty with Toastdawg, Ephiks and Sagewondah. 6524 St-Hubert, vernissage 5–8 p.m., free; afterparty begins at 9 p.m., free before 11 p.m., $5 after.

The Phi Centre continues with its hip-hop Osheaga afterparties, with tonight’s edition kicking off with a screening of Time Is Illmatic by Nas, followed by a conversation between filmmakers One9 and Erik Parker, hosted by local MC The Narcicyst. The Posterz close things off with DJ Dan K. Seligman and a couple of surprises. 407 St-Pierre, 8 p.m., $21.25 or $11.25 after midnight (for afterparty only)

New Plateau spot Matahari Loft hosts a retrossage to close out their first art exhibition, highlighting the works of street artists TurtleCaps and Futur Lasor Now. On the agenda are DJ sets by Tommy Kruise, Simahlak, Vincent Pryce and more, plus live painting by HoarKor and a b-boy dance showcase will round out the night. 1673 Mont-Royal E., 10 p.m., $5

Dudes (and that includes ladies), it’s your last chance to catch The Cannaboiz Comedy Hour at Katacombes, a very special stoner show (presented by Just for Laughs’ sister entity Zoofest) featuring Montrealer Stephen Spinola, NYC’s Evan Jones and Toronto headliner Mike Rita. 1635 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $24.13 (all in)
