Mile End’s outdoor bar/party/shopping/eating spot Marché des Possibles begins its sixth weekend of summer programming with two shifts of food trucks on site, music by DJ Gamache, “trip out” with POP Montreal and Mont-Royal Avenue bike shop Fitz & Folwell, a screening of Sarah Polley’s 2012 documentary Stories We Tell at 9 p.m. and a range of merchants selling their wares. Tiny styles comedy superstar Kevin Hart plays JFL’s biggest solo comedy gig ever, at the Bell Centre. 1909 Avenue des Canadiens de Montréal, 8 p.m., $62$143.50

Director Jason Reitman’s latest edition of Live Read (a series of all-star classic-script readings) is coming to Just for Laughs. If you haven’t heard by now, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Patton Oswalt and Silicon Valley’s TJ Miller and Martin Starr will read the Coen Brothers’ The Big Lebowski on stage at Olympia. 1004 Ste-Catherine E., 9:30 p.m., $40

The MEG festival continues tonight at two venues: at le Belmont (4483 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $25), French DJ/producer Fakefear and Montreal’s Melt MTL and Robert Robert will keep the party hopping. Meanwhile at Divan Orange (4234 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., $10), synth acts Syzzors, Human Human, About: and Fragile Feet will play live.

If you’re looking for a reliable hip hop night in the Plateau, Get Nice at Blizzarts is a mainstay, with DJ Simahlak and guests (tonight it’s Sagewondah) bringing a solid spread of old-school and new. 3956 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free before 11 p.m./$5
