The Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a 5à7 to accompany the weekly Wednesday evening half-price admission, a good opportunity to check out Metamorphoses, their exhibit of sculptures by Rodin. 1380 Sherbrooke W., cocktail 5–7 p.m., half price ($10) 5–9

Head to Plateau café/laundromat Blanc de Blanc for a backyard session of performances and visual art hosted by KickDrum, part of a series of travelling events happening every 2nd Wednesday. Usine106U hosts an evening of short film screenings, the première presentation of Thanatopia by Eric Braün and a performance of rope art by Deathkiss, accompanied by cello. The evening will also serve as the launch for the new issue of free visual arts mag 106U Magazine. 160 Roy E., 7 p.m., free

Day two of Festival d’Expression de la Rue goes down at Place Pasteur, featuring a discussion on urban renewal followed by rap performances by Maniks, Paranoiz, Bilo da Kid 514 and more. St-Denis between Ste-Catherine & de Maisonneuve, 4:30–11 p.m., free

Discover the artistic side of video games with Ghost Train, an evening with projections of digital landscapes and dreamy scenes collected from under the radar games such as Train Song, Endless Express and Offline, plus extra visuals by Toronto artist Cale Bradbury and music by Aliceffekt. Patrick Stewart takes the captain’s chair at his very own Just for Laughs Gala at Place des Arts, featuring comics Kyle Kinane, Jim Breuer, Russell Howard, Sebastian Maniscalco and Gina Yashere (175 Ste-Catherine W., 9:45 p.m., $55.52–$123.23). Also at JFL tonight, performing his first of three shows (the only one that’s not sold out), is Bill Burr (1004 Ste-Catherine E., 7 p.m., $48.49).
