In Fringe Park tonight, bring your sketchbook for a free drawing session with Dr. Sketchy Montreal and this evening’s live models, burlesque stars Velvet La Touche and Lezzlie Vee. Stick around afterwards for a selection of film screenings presented by Fantasia (bring your own headphones). St-Laurent / Rachel, Dr. Sketchy workshop 6–9 p.m., Fantasia screening 9 p.m., free

In other festival news, FrancoFolies offers another big night of free shows in the Place des Festivals, with Monk.E and later Boogat performing at the LaPresse+ stage. Clark & de Montigny, Monk.E at 9 p.m. and Boogat at 11 p.m., free

After playing an intimate show at the Phi Centre in January, electronic/baroque singer-songwriter Zola Jesus returns to play a headlining show at la Sala Rossa, with an opening set by local industrial/electronic act Âmes Sanglantes. 4848 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., $20

Over at the new Turbo Haus in St-Henri, local band Beat Cops launch their album Mean Streets, with opener No Aloha. 5011 Notre-Dame W., show 10 p.m. (doors 8 p.m.)
