Chances of rain and severe thunder rise from 60 per cent this afternoon to 90 per cent at 9 p.m., so bear that in mind when you’re looking over the following outdoor events. (Get down there early, with an umbrella.)

Spring POP brings the noise to Parc Ex, with an outdoor show at Place de la Gare featuring AfrikElectro, UN Blonde, Sin and Swoon and more. Jean-Talon & Hutchison, 1–6 p.m., free

(POP Montreal’s also mounting an indoor event this weekend, the spring edition of Puces POP going on at Église St-Denis. 5075 Rivard, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., free)

Work by 25 artists and fashion designers is on display Art Happening Artistique’s Art Feast, an art fair featuring live painting, music and installations. Also on display are blueprints for a touring art truck designed to showcase emerging Montreal talent to outside markets. Infopresse (4310 St-Laurent), 1 p.m.–midnight, $5–$7

Seasonal Mile Ex bar Alexandraplatz hosts this summer’s first outdoor Night Market. See the list of vendors here. 6731 Esplanade, 2–11 p.m.

Hopefully these block parties won’t get rained out today: Mont-Royal’s sidewalk sale and Pavé Poésie festival runs through the weekend between St-Laurent and Fullum, and Chromatic’s afternoon block party is happening on St-Hubert just below the tracks, featuring music by DJs Lexis, V X N Y L and la Rue plus live art by Bonar, Waxhead, Earth Crusher, MC Baldassari and more. 5500 St-Hubert, 3–10 p.m., $5

Newspeak teams up with the Trollsen Twins to host a Fashion Night Out Pop-Up shop with local labels like Atelier Wonder, Le Cartel, Deux Lions, Casablank and more, tunes by Shaydakiss, Ponsolo, Montrilla and Ryan Playground. 1403 Ste-Elisabeth, vendors 6–11 p.m., free before 10 p.m., $10 after

The 10-year anniversary celebration at Hochelaga café/bar Atomic continues with live music by the World Provider and Mermaids. 3606 Ontario E., 9 p.m.
