It’s the final day of the Vues d’Afrique film festival, and many of the fest’s big films are screening today. Note that most of them are in French only. See programming details for today here.

It’s also the last day of the Surplus Sample Sale, offering big discounts on big brands like Gucci, Diesel, Fred Perry and Levi’s. 9500 Meilleur #555, 125 p.m.

Check out another dangerous installment of Bifteck’s weekly stand-up showcase, the Danger Dulgar Comedy show, hosted by Kris Dulgar. See tonight’s line-up here. 3702 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., PWYC

Montreal punk/glam rocker Caféïne has been living in L.A. lately, and promoting the U.S. release of his latest record New Love, but tonight he swings back into town for an intimate show at la Vitrola, hauling Los Angelino act Gateway Drugs. 4602 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $10

It’s Sunday, and that means Mile Ex bowling bar extraordinaire Notre Dame des Quilles welcomes a horde of amateur singing sensations for Lipster Karaoke. 32 Beaubien E., 10 p.m.
