Today marks the first food truck party of the season at the Olympic Stadium, organized by Cuisine de Rue. Nearly 40 food trucks will be on site for the monthly get-together, along with performances by Heat, First You Get the Sugar, Brave Shores and David Vertesi. 4141 Pierre-de-Coubertin, 4–11 p.m., free

Join the Fringe Fest organizers at the MainLine Theatre for a 5à7 fundraiser auction with great prizes up for grabs, like Just for Laughs tickets, Barefoot Wine gift packs, restaurant gift cards and of course, Fringe passes. Come out to Studio XX for a double launch, including issue #31 of .dpi, the feminist online journal of art and digital culture, with this issue exploring music and politics, and issue #104 of ETC Media. The launch includes a performance by artist Émilie Mouchus. 4001 Berri, #201, 6–9 p.m., free

Montreal poet Melissa Bull launches her debut collection Rue (Anvil Press), with guest authors Alexandra Leggat and Jennifer LoveGrove. The event, featuring readings, wine, and conversation, will be hosted by Emma Healey. Librairie Drawn & Quarterly (211 Bernard W.), 7 p.m., free
