The FIFA Festival of Films on Art continues today with several screenings at the Cinémathèque Québecoise including a biopic on Great Depression-era photographer Dorothea Lange (in English) and a look at the complicated personal relationship between Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich (in French). 335 de Maisonneuve E., screenings at 6:30 and 9 p.m., $12.50/$10 for those 25 and under

Montreal garage/psych/rock band les Marinellis are hosting a listening party for their new album Ile de Reve, coming out on Burger Records. L’Escogriffe (4467 St-Denis), 5 à 7 p.m., free

The weekly stand-up showcase at Blue Dog, There’s Something Funny Going On, has a hot line-up tonight, with headliner headliner G. Hamilton Braithwaite, Karl Kox, Emma Wilkie and Morgan O’Shea among the comedic talent. 3958 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., PWYC
