Hip Hop Week Montreal really gets going tomorrow, but today promises a pre-festival hip hop edition of the Silent Disco Squad dance procession. BYO headphones and smart phone to stream the mixtape — see the details here. Parc Lafontaine (cover Napoleon and Avenue du Parc Lafontaine), 2 p.m.

This afternoon and tonight, the Segal Centre presents your final opportunities to catch Damien Atkins’ critically acclaimed one-man show We Are Not Alone, part creepy campfire tale about extraterrestrials and part philosophical quest about belief and faith. 5170 Côte-Ste-Catherine, 2 and 7 p.m., $44 regular/$24.50 students/$30 for non-students under 30/$39.50 seniors

Kid Power author and former programmer for Montreal underground cinema Blue Sunshine Kier-la Janisse has teamed up with the Cinéclub /Film Society to screen the best/weirdest after-school specials and other short films made for kids and teens in the 1970s and ’80s. Ten ladies of stand-up will take the stage at the Comedy Nest’s second Open Michelle Women in Comedy Night. 2313 Ste-Catherine W., 8 p.m., $8/$6 students & seniors
