HEY! Metric and Stars are playing the Bell Centre on Nov. 21. Crazy! Want to win a pair of tickets? Go here.

Find Cult MTL in print at school and off-campus here.

Catch dinner and a movie as part of Burlesque Month. There’s a screening of Behind the Burly Q, a documentary chronicling burlesque’s golden age and the art of the tease, while the Rialto serves a three-course meal. Rialto Theatre (5732 Parc), 6 p.m., $45

Ain’t no country like old time country. Check out Hillbilly Night and two-step alongside dozens of seniors who are obviously cooler than you’ll ever be. Wheel Club (3373 Cavendish), 7 p.m., free

MainLine Theatre’s Movie Mondays series presents a free screening of punxploitation classic Rock n’ Roll High School, starring the Ramones. Not only will it cost you nothing, but the programmers note that “Potluck Snackery and talking Smackery encouraged.” 3997 St-Laurent, 7:45 p.m., free

For even more cult cinema, see Cinema 17’s presentation of Slava Tsukerman’s outrageous 1982 film Liquid Sky, chronicling NYC’s glam subculture. Cagibi (5490 St-Laurent), 8:30 p.m., free

Get your live music fix at Casa del Popolo, with Holograms, Hand Cream and Man Legs. 4873 St-Laurent, 9 p.m., $9/$12
