Martin Scorsese Presents 8 Masterpieces of Polish Cinema begins at Cinéma du Parc. This series of restored prints of Polish classics curated by Scorsese kicks off with Andrez Wajda’s Man of Iron, winner of the Palme d’Or in 1981. 3575 Parc, 3:30 p.m., $12/$10 students/seniors

Brave the cold at Hivernale, an outdoor musical/culinary/skating/curling event out by the Olympic Stadium. Today’s edition features tunes by the Goods soundsystem (aka Scott C and Andy Williams) and food by le Petit Munich. 4141 Pierre-de-Coubertin, 4–11 p.m., free entry
