Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? 

Today sees the beginning of not one, but TWO independent performing arts festivals. Contemporary dance festival Bouge d’Ici opens with a 5à7 at the MainLine Theatre before participants are encouraged to support the week’s other festival…. 3997 St-Laurent, 5 p.m., free

Centaur Theatre’s Wildside Festival begins today, staging productions from musicals to drama to dance, including some highlights of Fringe festivals around the world. Tonight’s performances include Aiden Flynn Lost His Brother So He Makes Another, Coming and Going and Playday Mayday. Programming at the Cinémathèque resumes with an homage to the recently departed Mike Nichols.
