GAMIQ

It’s the final day of Souk@SAT, the somewhat upscale, design-ey holiday sale that’s hardly your average craft fair. (For more arts, crafts and tchotchke sales for the holidays, see our round-up here.) 1201 St-Laurent, 12–7 p.m., free entry

Check out the awards gala for the Gala alternatif de la musique indépendante du Québec (GAMIQ), featuring 18 statuette hand-offs and 11 performances by nominated bands. Théâtre Plaza (6505 St-Hubert), 7 p.m., $20

image + nation, Montreal’s LGBT film fest, closes its 27th edition with a screening of Guilda: Elle est bien dans ma peau, a documentary about the legendary drag performer Jean Guilda, who passed away in 2012. Cinéma Impérial (1432 Bleury), 8 p.m., $13

French electronic producer College (aka David Grellier, who you’ll know from this song off the Drive soundtrack), is playing la Vitrola with Montreal electronic trio le Matos opening. 4602 St-Laurent, 8:30 p.m., $17/$20

Bringing moustache month to a close, Blue Dog presents Movember: The Final Cut, offering a free shave and shot to every patron (hmmm, would they do legs?) in their barbershop storefront, and music by DJs Blaster & New Money. 3958 St-Laurent, 10 p.m., free
