Zombie Walkers

Undead revellers and make-up artists will be onsite at Place des Festivals as of noon today for the Montreal Zombie Walk, which begins its slow trek north at 3 p.m. See details and info about the various afterparties here.

MUFF (Montreal Underground Film Festival) presents a selection of the best short films screened during its nine-year run. All donations go toward financing the festival. Bar Populaire (6584 St-Laurent), 8 p.m., $5-$10 (suggested donation)

The Plaza film night is hosting a tropical party tonight, serving up PWYC Brazilian food and drink, a screening of Marcel Camus’s Black Orpheus, live music by Rommel Ribeiro and the Canicule Tropicale DJ crew handling the afterparty. 4416 St-Laurent #305, food & drink 7 p.m., screening 8:30 p.m., band & DJs 10 p.m., $5
