La Braderie de la Mode, an annual sale of clothing by Quebec designers, begins its four-day run at Bonsecours Market. 350 St-Paul E., 325 de la Commune E., 10 a.m.–9 p.m.

Santropol Roulant’s annual Harvest Gala, a fundraiser for their meals on wheels program, is happening tonight at Espace Réunion. 6600 Hutchison, 6:30–11 p.m.

Local indie rock ’n’ roll quintet Chocolat launch a new record (Tss Tss) tonight at la Vitrola, with DJ Annie Q on the platines. 4602 St-Laurent, 8 p.m., $15

The Spasm Film Festival opens with Sexe, featuring a montage of sexy times in Quebec cinema from 1948 to the present, by Fantasia’s DJ XL5 and Izabel Grondin. Stick around for the afterparty on site with DJ Mathieu Beauséjour. Théâtre Plaza (6505 St-Hubert), doors open at 7 p.m., screening at 8 p.m., $12

Contrôle is I Love Neon and StereoBar’s new weekly club night, bringing old and new school house and techno to the dancefloor, and to one of the city’s best sound systems, via DJs Vosper, Ponsolo and Ledisko. 858 Ste-Catherine E., 10 p.m.
