What’s the best Canadian album of the past year? The Polaris Music Prize grand jury (feat. Cult MTL’s EIC Lorraine Carpenter) is deliberating today and will pick a winner tonight. Once again cultmontreal.com will be streaming the gala live — tune in for weed jokes by gala host Jay Baruchel, performances by six of the nominated acts and the big reveal. Cult MTL, pre-show at 7 p.m., gala 8–10 p.m.
